Anu’s media world has led to work with companies and organizations in TV and movie industry, whereby
she has formed strategic alliances and closed transactions. She is also active in fund raising and media

Practice Director in Media & Entertainment sectors.
Anu is a goodwill ambassador to one of the India’s leading non-profit organizations, called Development
Alternative (DA) Group, established in 1983, which creates large scale sustainable livelihoods (www.
devalt.org) and has raised over $100M and she also acts as an Advisor to Tara Haat (a for profit
organization) (www.tarahaat.com). DA's founder - Dr. Ashok Khosla has also been president of Club of
Rome (www.clubofrome.org) and International Union of Conservation of Nature (http://www.iucn.org/
Anu is community board member at El Camino Hospital in Mt. View, California where she provides
valuable community input, forms alliance with international hospitals and hosts local free health check-
up in the community. The hospital provides cutting edge technology using robotics and is willing to
host/form strategic relationship with international hospitals.
Anu is a board member at Chai With Manjula (www.chaiwithmanjula.com), a non-profit, which is seen in
128 countries and has focus on social causes. She is also an advisor to WomenNowTV (www.womennow.
tv), which has audience of 50+ million viewers.

|Manjula Mair Gupta
Manjula, a well-respected name within the Indo-American
community in the Bay Area, is the Founder/CEO of the Chai with
Manjula organization. She is also the producer and host of the TV
show, Chai with Manjula.
Manjula was the Founder/CEO of Saicom, Inc., a successful
software services company in Fremont, CA, serving many
well-known high-tech companies in Silicon Valley from 1991 to 2001.
|Dr. Parveen Gupta
Dr. Gupta is a technology business executive and entrepreneur with over 25 years experience in
technology services, storage, networking, semiconductor, software, and systems integration. Dr. Gupta
is currently President of Creative Solutions Network, Inc., a technology services and management
consulting company. Prior to joining Creative Solutions, he was Senior Vice President at Satyam
Computer Services Inc.; one of the world’s leading IT, Engineering, and BPO Consulting Services
Companies. Previously, Dr. Gupta co-founded Mylex, where he started the storage technology division
and grew it into a $150 million business. Mylex was acquired by IBM in 1999.
Parveen is a founding Charter member of TiE, world’s leading organization dedicated to
entrepreneurship. He has served on its Board of Directors. He is currently on the Board of Visitors of
University of Wisconsin, Electrical & Computer Engineering Department. Dr. Gupta holds a Ph.D. in
Electrical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.

|Since 2001 Manjula has been engaged full-time in community service. As a volunteer/Program Director at
the American India Foundation, founded under the leadership of President Bill Clinton, she helped
launch the Service Corps Program, and joined a delegation to India led by President Clinton. As the Chair
of Special Events at ICC (Milpitas, CA) for three years, she founded and ran a highly successful club as
the Chair, bringing the community together on a weekly basis.
Manjula serves on the Advisory Boards of the Northern California Chapter of Ekal Vidyalaya, a well-known
NGO running one-teacher schools in remote and tribal villages across India, and of Induz, a Bay Area
organization that supports art programs for the underprivileged children in India, and in the U.S. She
also served as an Art Commissioner for the city of Milpitas, CA. As the Founder/President of the Chai with
Manjula organization, she is working passionately towards developing initiatives to promote
giving/philanthropy, and has won prestigious awards for her work.
Anu has an entrepreneurial background, as she was the CEO and
cofounder of The Platinum Organics, a company with focus in organic
materials and manufacturing. She has also been cofounder/CEO of
Basic Instinct (Retail and web based sales and marketing company).
She lead the company in its vision of creating and promoting cutting
edge designs and her marketing expertise brought international
attention to the company at Toronto Fashion Week in 2004 and San
Francisco Fashion Week in 2005. Prior to that, Anu’s entrepreneurial
drive also led her to start an international perfume company, called
